Lucy and theatre-maker Dylan Read have begun work on the development of TOCKS TICK SLOW, an opera Lucy wrote that was workshopped and filmed last summer with cast soprano Clara Barbier Serrano, bass singer Thomas Chenhall, saxophonist Robert Finegan, cellist Tamaki Sugimoto and pianist Grytė Navardauskaitė.

What strange dreams emerge when we are bound by isolation and the constraints of a locked-down existence? Can this yearning for connection also open-up a new and unexpected window of hope? A musical and visual journey from frustration to hope and back again, proposing a transformative encounter where the human and natural worlds collide.
This summer Horsham Symphony Orchestra premiered SIRENS WAKE, conducted by Lucy. Read John Sherlock's review of the concert here.
